The way we do business is changing
If your business relies on you getting out and meeting people in person, face-to-face, or working with clients one-on-one, face-to-face, times are changing. We’re going more virtual now, so you need to be thinking about how can you start to incorporate video into what you do, whether it’s expanding upon the video that you’re already using, or starting to use video, if you’re not currently using at all. Your goal is to stay current, stay relevant, and stay in front of your audience without skipping a beat.
Why should you use video?
With the exception of being in person, video is the absolute best way to make an emotional connection with someone. When you’re in person, you can touch somebody, you can talk to them, and look them in the eyes. You can feel someone’s energy, and really make that connection, when you’re in person. But in a virtual world, and when you have to stay home, the next best way to connect is with video, because people can still see you and feel your energy, and look into your eyes, and really get a sense of who you are, and what your values are. On video, you’re trying to create the same type of emotional connection that you naturally have in person, but you’re doing it in the next best way you can. So that is why using video is so powerful, and why it’s the time to be figuring this out, and getting this done now – so that you can still stay connected.
The time is now
There is no more waiting around. No more excuses! All the fears, all those things that are going on your head about why this won’t work, or why you can’t do it, or why you can’t step in front of the camera – those excuses end today. Because if you’re not doing it, chances are your competitors are, and you’re going to miss out. You’re going to see a lot more people starting to use video in a powerful way to expand their businesses – to reach more people, stay relevant, and stay current. So if you’re not doing it, now is the time!
