There is so much discussion about what makes a person successful in business, or how do you get from where you are now ultimately to where you want to be?

Well, we’ve been in business for quite a long time now, so we definitely have a sense for what works and what doesn’t work. And with all of the personal development work, and the growth, and the learning that we’ve done over the past 12 years or so, we’ve definitely picked up some tips and tricks along the way.

We’re going to share with you one very simple key to success that we know for sure is the key to success in video, and in business, and in life. You do not want to miss today’s video PSA.

The magic pill

It’s the moment of truth. So many people are looking for a magic pill or a super-sexy solution to how they can be successful and catapult themselves to success in business and in life. But the truth of the matter is that the solution is probably not very sexy at all. In fact, it’s kind of boring actually. The thing that’s sexy about it is the fact that it actually works.

This is something that we’ve been learning and practicing for years, and it’s super simple, and you’re probably going to think to yourself, “Yeah, yeah. I’ve already heard this.” And maybe you have, but are you doing it?

What we’re hoping is that today you’re going to hear it from us in a different way, and it’s going to land differently and you’re actually going to start to implement this strategy in your business.

The most important and simplest key to success

You ready? Here it is… the most important and the simplest key to success in business and in life lies in your daily, weekly, and monthly habits, which is basically your ability to be consistent with taking the right actions that are actually going to get you where you want to be.

And the exact same thing is true when doing video for your business, It’s about consistency. It’s about making it a habit – a regular part of your marketing efforts. Because if you just do it once or twice, you might get some views, you might get some traction, but in order to really be successful with your video marketing, you need to make it a consistent part and a habit in your daily marketing efforts.

So, think of it this way… it’s kind of like losing weight. When you’re trying to lose weight, you have to maintain healthy habits in four key areas, and those are proper nutrition, proper exercise, proper sleep, and proper stress management. It’s pretty straightforward. If you can get yourself dialed in properly in those four key areas, most people are going to be able to lose weight, just keeping up with the right habits in those areas.

Creating loyal brand ambassadors

And the exact same thing about being systematized and consistent applies with your video marketing. If you do it right, if you have a strategy in place and you put out videos on a consistent basis, you’re going to build more visibility and brand awareness, you’re going to generate more leads for your business, you’re going to convert more of those leads into paying clients and customers, you’re going to maintain and retain more happy clients and customers, and you’re going to ultimately have way more people out there that are going to be loyal brand ambassadors, spreading the word about your business.

Right plan + right actions

But here’s the thing – you need to know the right actions to take in order to reach your goals. And you also need to understand that if you take the wrong actions, like for example in weight loss, if you do the wrong nutrition, the wrong exercise plan, the wrong sleep, the wrong stress management, then not only are you probably not going to lose weight, but you might actually gain weight.

Sometimes it’s about being guided by the right plan, the right people, who not only know what are the right actions to take, and in what order, but who can also motivate and inspire you to consistently take the right actions. Because, let’s face it, how many of us actually know how to lose weight, but we just don’t take the right actions in order to reach our weight loss goals?

How about video?

How does this apply to video? Well, the exact same thing is true. You may know what to do, or that you should be doing video, but are you? Are you making it a consistent part of your daily and weekly and monthly marketing routine? Probably not.
