Online Course/Program Membership Platform Overview 

Congratulations again on making the commitment to have your Online Course/Program Videos produced, filmed, and edited by Geffner Productions!

As part of your video production project since you’re in our “Video Means Business” Monthly Retainer program, we’re also going to be helping you to create and build out the membership platform for your online course. This membership site is where your course participants will be able to sign up for an account, pay for access to your course, and access all of your course content.

You will also have the ability to create multiple courses on your membership platform, add or delete users, and keep track of course progress for all of your course participants.


We create all of our clients’ courses using a membership platform called Thinkific. While we will be building your membership platform for you, you will need to register for (and pay the yearly/monthly course hosting fees for) Thinkific yourself, and then make us a “manager” on your account, granting us access to login and edit the backend of your membership site.

If you haven’t already registered for Thinkific, please click here to register for an account. (Make sure you use this specific link when you sign up as we are a partner agency with Thinkific and all our clients go under our partner agency admin account.) We typically recommend the “Pro” level for our clients, as this will give you access to all of the features you will need for your course platform. Please talk to us about this if you have any questions about which level you’ll need. Also, be aware that if you sign up for one level and need to change or upgrade the level, you can do that at a later date with no problem. There is a discount for paying in full for the year, as opposed to paying month-by-month.

Finally, after we build out your membership site, upload all of your course content videos, and create your course sales page, we will send you a link to review and give feedback on the platform. It will not be published and students will not be able to see or access the information until you have given your final approval.


To help us create your membership platform site, you will be receiving a Google Drive link to a customized detailed questionnaire to fill out. It’s important that you complete your questionnaire in full, so that we can complete this step in the process.

You will be receiving your link when we get to the post-production phase of your project.
